Hey Duel Academy! Many of you are new here but this site has a long history if counted in online ygo time. In other words, DA's 3rd Birthday is approaching. Many people have started here, learned a lot of things, made new friends and a lot more. Also, some people come and some go. This is how life is. It is same with the staff. We're sad that our founder, EJ, is not with us anymore but we're happy to be members of this academy and that we can still help in keeping it alive. We all are owing DA this. One of main things in achieving that is to keep DA's tradition: DA Awards.

Please don't just read this. We've spent time to keep this academy in order for so long and all we want from you now is to take a minute or two of your time and contribute to these Awards with your nomination. It means a lot for DA.

Simple Rules
1- You can't vote for yourself.
2- Give at least one reason why you voted for that person.

Awards

1- Administrator of the Year : This award is given to the most dedicated administrator, either in helping old and new members by answering their questions to help them fit in fast or providing them with a professional outlet or starting some new unique ideas.
2- Moderator of the Year : This award is given to the most dedicated moderator, either in editing your dueling records, cashing your DPs, answering your PMs and questions.
3- Tester of the Year (includes mod/testers) : This award is given to the most active tester, to the one who rarely denies testing no matter what he had, to the one with the friendly attitude.
4- Most Valuable Staff member of the Year : Out of all Staff ranks, one stands out to be the most helpful, this award is made for him.
5- Member of the Year : This award is given to the most active non-spamming member of the year who never keeps his valuable information to himself.
6- Most Improved Duelist of the Year : This award is given to the member whose skills has greatly grown. Although this academy plays a role in that, yet his passion and dedication play the biggest factor
7- Strategist/Deck Builder of the Year : This award is given to the duelist whose posted decks gather attractions and whose fixes are reasonable and good with unique ideas.
8- Writer of the Year : This award is given to the best article/fan-fiction writer at the forum.
9- Graphic Artist of the Year : This award is given to the best Graphic artist whose works are incredible at the forum.
10- War-Duelist of the Year : This award is given to the member whose inclusion in the war team makes a difference as his abilities qualifies him to slice atleast 3-4 opposing members.
11- Underdog of the Year : This award is given to understimated duelists who's proved themselves to be great ones.
12- Spammer of the Year : This award is given to the most participating member in General Discussion forum and generally posting too much.

I have actually never voted in these, but I will this time. Maybe next year too.

Reason : In my eyes, he's the new EJ. Which are very big shoes to fill, having worked with him for over a year.

Reason: I've seen him around more than most of the others. (I know that's biased, but what can I say, I'm voting.)
