My name is Jin Kazama and I am going to talk about something you may or may not have heard of in tournaments: Side Decks.

It's simple, right? Fifteen cards in your side deck that help you counter other decks. But that's not as easy as it sounds. Let's have a little bit of fun. An interactive exercise for you duelists, with my deck:

Side Deck
???

Matchups: (This is based off of information I have done during testing.)

Plant Synchro: This deck is about even against Plant Synchro, 50/50.

Karakuri: Barely tested, not in our locals. Wrecks them 80/20.

Agents: Reasonably well-tested, 60/40 in favor of a win.

Lightsworns: Heavily favored. 75/25.

Heroes: We have a -lot- of Hero decks here, and this deck is about 55/45 in favour of winning.

Rabbit: This is one of the worse matchups against this deck. 40/60 against.

TG Stun: Another bad matchup for this deck. 35/65 against.

Dark World: Terrible matchup, this deck has severe problems with them. 25/75 against.

Machina Gadgets: This deck is about even grounds, but it can be surprising to see one of these decks in my area. 45/55 against, but just barely.

Random decks: This deck wipes the floor with anything not listed here.

Given this information, I don't want you to tell me what to change in the deck. I want you to provide a side deck that helps me solve the problems with the decks this deck has problems with. In 48 hours, I will have this topic locked and review answers in a second article, as well as provide my side deck for this deck. So on December 6th, please lock it. I'll make a reminder.

Well when it comes to me siding first i need to see the info which u gave us Very Happy

so first ill start with the bad match ups
Rabbit Laggia is a big problem and d-fissure kills ur deck
so
2 Snowman eaters(gets rid of laggia and cant be ran over with jurrac monsters)
2 Mystical Space Typhoon(D-fissure)
2 Bottemless trap hole( to kill the the things rabbit summons)
Total=6

T.G Stun
we already added spell and trap hate so have some more room to deal with this deck
2 Mind Crush because of all the pluses they can get and they usualy main 3 Pot of Duality
would also side 2 Dimensional Prison but u already main them
Total=8

Darkworld
pretty tough here since cards that ussualy kill them kill u also shadow mirror and D-fissure/Banisher
but i think u can side 2 Banisher of the radiance with out getting hurt
i dont know how many ppl do this but id also side 2 Debunk kills darkworld and Plants and other meta so does Banisher
so 2 Banisher and 2 Debunk
Total=12

so thats all for the worst match-ups but those also hurt other match ups u run into
Debunk kills plants Banisher kills plants and gives agents a hard time with an empty grave so finaly id add
2 maxx "C" stops venus plays and stops karakuri plays also from going all out same for Plants

Total=14
Last card i would add would be a Vanitys Fiend it fits in ur deck u summon it it kills a lot of decks u run into and keep beating them down while they dont do anything killing them with it and thunder king they wont be able to do much so

Earth monster in Dark Turbo? No room. Also, I specifically said, "Don't fix the deck, offer a side deck".

1 Soul Release - Personal tech. I love it, and has done me wonders.
1 Starlight Road - LS, TT, Mirror Force, Black Rose rct.
2 Chaos Hunter - Best side versus Rabbit besides Maxx_C. It can discard your darks, and your mali/plagues

1 Dust Tornado - Why not?
2 Ally Of justice Qurantine - Imo better than leaching ;D

P.S Like Ed said Maxx C in main is not bad. I mean it is called Dark turbo and it does need some kind of draw power.

15 cards = side deck, I didn't fix the deck, I just added a side note since it'd take more than just that to fix the deck. Nevertheless, Maxx "C" speeds your deck and counters almost all the top decks, please give me a good reason not to have room for it.

Also - This deck cycles through cards quite fast on its own, and works in an area where the meta is different than YCS/DN.
