| What are your opinions on certain songs, or bands? I would love to discuss your thoughts on this stuff :F Right now I'm listening to "The Bachelor" by Patrick Wolf I've been a fan of Patrick Wolf since he put out his second album. Specifically, I find this song very catchy and very dancy, despite being a dark song. Another reason I like Patrick Wolf, is because his songs are easy to sing |

| This is a very broad subject. I tend to think of myself as open minded when it comes to music. There are certain genres and sub-genres which I, generally, don't like much, ie. House, Trance, Country. However, something will occasionally catch my interest from those genres, for example, I'm a huge fan of Pendulum, Daft Punk and Pet Shop Boys, which doesn't fit into my usual "comfort zone" of Power Metal or Hard Rock.
My favourite bands are as follows: Sonata Arctica, Alter Bridge, Dream Theater, Within Temptation, Trivium, Nightwish, Alestorm, Ensiferum.
Just to name a few.
Music plays a huge part of my life. My 160GB iPod is about half filled. I have 11,873 songs, comprising over 1000 albums. A collection of music spanning over 10 years of collection by me. I don't know what I'd do without music.
My musical idol is Steven Wilson, founder of No-Man, Porcupine Tree and co-founder of Blackfield, and I find myself drawing comparisons with him a lot as his various projects are so diverse like my music taste from the Progressive Rock/Metal sound of Porcupine Tree, to the Art Rock/Pop Rock sound of Blackfield, the trip-hop sound of No-Man, the ambient and experimental Bass Communion, the Psychedelic Rock sounds in I.E.M. (Incredible Expanding Mindfuck) and even the Progressive/Experimental Rock sounds of his solo music. His range of music is so diverse and unique, it's difficult not to sit in awe that this is everything he does. |

I agree with you when you say "Music plays a huge part of my life" I only have about 800 songs in my playlist, I've had to give up my iPod to the washing machine, and I haven't been the same since, atleast I can upgrade from 8gb to something far larger.
I'm Definately not a fan of Rap, but I do have a few Rappers in my collection, Nicki Minaj is my all-time favorite rapper, she makes awesome music, and it's very inspirational to me Another example would be Flobots, they're rapping style speaks for itself, you'll have to give them a listen. Country is a bit different, there is only one song I've ever heard that I've found worthy of listening to more than once, and that is Hood of My Car by Chad Brownlee. I'm gay and I think his physical appearance has a lot to do with my opinion on the song. He's the only country artist that doesn't make me feel so stupid when I'm listening.
Does anybody else lip sync to songs?? I do it constantly, even though I'm not good at dancing I will still do that too

| Everyone keeps telling me to upgrade my iPod to a iPod Touch, but I love my Classic because it offers one thing a fancy iPod can't: unbeatable storage. I would much rather have all my music in my pocket at one time than have to keep switching in music I feel like and not have something I want to listen to at that moment. It would infuriate me to no end if I wanted to listen to something and not have it because I went with a fancy iPod instead of something that can hold all my music and still have space left. |

Yeah, I can see your point, in 10 years maybe I won't need to down grade, It's definitely going to take awhile for me to collect 10 thousand songs lol. |

| My collection is always growing. My Pet Shop Boys love can go back to when I was 5 and I bought Very on cassette (for those who don't know, that's the album with Go West on it). I was hooked. It was the first album I bought. The second I bought was Megadeth's Rust in Peace. I initially bought it so my brothers would think I was cool. Luckily it worked. They borrowed it and I never saw it again until 12 years after I bought it. XD I then gave it to one of my friends who has been trying to collect all the Megadeth albums. Both of those albums are on my iPod. My brothers and friends helped my collection to grow. With each CD I borrowed or bought, I would rip it and my collection started. My physical collection is only about 20-30 CDs. Recently, I've been buying all my music through iTunes. I must have spent about 700 euros on iTunes since I moved onto downloading. Every year in December, I compile a playlist of my favourite albums of that year and vote on which album I considered my favourite for the year. I've been doing that since 2006. The list of winners is: 2006: "Pitch Black Progress" by Scar Symmetry
2007: "Blackbird" by Alter Bridge2008: "Captain Morgan's Revenge" by Alestorm2009: "No Sacrifice, No Victory" by HammerFall2010: "At the Edge of Time" by Blind Guardian2011: "In Waves" by TriviumEvery single album on that list sits in my physical collection. Since I started buying on iTunes, I've made a rule with myself. I buy on iTunes, if I love the album, I will go out and buy the physical copy to support the album. Call me crazy, but that's how I work. |

Yuup! ^.^ I've spend $800+ CAD on my itunes collection, If I have a favourite album I'll buy it too. The only time I've done that was with Songs For Japan, sadly, I don't have a lot of music friends :< |

| I'd list all the bands I have on my iPod, but that list would be hella long. Here's my music count from iTunes, as of today (I bought more today):
~ 422 Artists ~ 1083 Albums ~ 131 Genres & Sub-Genres ~ 11981 Tracks ~ 74.8 GB
If I were to try and listen to each track once, it would take me 32.4 days.
I don't have a Top 25 most played because I reset my iTunes every so often to make sure my library is up to date, as when I buy something I move it to an external hard drive and sometimes forget to replace the files in the library.
Today, I bought:
The Sound of Madness (Deluxe Version) by Shinedown Phoenix Rising by Galneryus Second Skin by The Mayfield Four Creed: Greatest Hits by Creed Full Circle by Creed Catching Rays on Giants by Alphaville
Still got a few more purchases to make. ^^ |

| Don't have sex music because I've never had sex with music. I decided that because I don't want to ruin a potentially good song by thinking about sex everytime I hear it. ^^ |
