I'm new here, and actually pretty new to the game in general.
I'm also new to the idea of academies, so uh. Please be patient with me! I hear that I'm a fast learner but I'm not sure about that...
I do have a few questions that I figured I might as well put here :

1. What is the whole PURPOSE of this place?

2. I received an automated(?) PM to join the testing network on hamachi, which is full, so I'm not sure what to do about that.

3. When I registered it asked me my KCVDS user, but what about people who love testing out huge amounts of decks (like myself) and have multiple KCVDS accounts? Will I have to rebuild the deck on my specified account if I want to use it? I wouldn't mind doing that, it'd just be kind of tedious and I'm just...wondering. So yeah...

To answers your questions:

1. The purpose of this place is to have fun join tournaments duel people enter in competitions duel for Duel Points and make new friends.

2. Post in the tester room if you can get tested they will tell you to join one of there Hamachi networks or look in the first post it usually has what network you need to join to get tested.

3. No you wouldn't have to rebuild your deck in that account you're free to use any account as long as it's yours.
