Roleplaying

o.o Yeah, name says it all. Just a small section for random forum based roleplays. For those who don't know what roleplaying is, roleplaying is a story written with two or more people, who each contribute one or more characters to either the plot, or the story that is being written. It can be as short as a few posts, or as long as several, depending on what the participants decide. Although there are more indepth rules for forum based sparring, or small fights, for those who would need help on that, I could teach them, since I've been roleplaying for 6 years, and all of it has been forum based, with other kinds mixed in.

If more information is needed in order for a complete concensus on this matter, I'd be more than happy to give it. Just thinking of having a random section for different things besides YGO. It's good to have variety, I think. =)

I believe this idea is very good, I love role playing personally, it's so fun to become someone of your own imagination and creative genius once in a while. I also play role playing games on byond such as Mitidake High and Death Note Online. I agree with this suggestion and support it.

can u give me some good examples of where u did this on other forums.. so i can tell that this could work and to know that u are capable of handling this

I wanted to make a new story regarding GX but i'm lazy and don't have time but maybe with the role playing thing we can make it Very Happy

XD Ask Giapostolo. He's reference one.

And reference two is my own Naruto Roleplaying site. I came up with the plotline, as well as the Village Hidden in the Open, The Village Hidden in the Caves, and The Village Hidden in the Forest, as well as I created the character Kyuuze Hyonikatsu. And this is just in the Naruto stuff. If you really want a showing of my powers, you'd have to roleplay me directly, but if you give me some subject or whatever, I'm sure I can whip something up on the spot.

And to everyone else, as to the YuGiOh Roleplay, I don't see how fascinating it would be. If people are interested in a storyline based roleplay, I can think of things far better than YuGiOh, or I could even come up with a unique plotline specifically for DA itself, as long as the members would agree with what I come up with. But for the matter of roleplays, I suggest inside the roleplay section to have two different areas, an area for sparring, and an area for storylines, and each one would have more subcategories. Here's what I'm thinking.

1) Storyline
-YuGiOh GX
-DA Official SL
-Random Other SL Voted In
-ETC
2) Sparring
-Official Arena (could be for Points and stuff, if the Administration wants)
-Practice Arena
-Shadow Arena
-ETC

This is an example only, though, so don't worry, I don't think these will be the official titles. XD

well u certainly seem more than capable, and the whole idea would seem to attract activity, variety and entertainment so i will gladly approve

although i donot speak for the rest of DA, you might have to work hard to attract members to this idea

Thank you very much! O.o That's if it's fully approved. But still, yes, I'm sure I can bring activity, as long as I make a story interesting enough. Smile

Although, now I'd like to ask the DA Administration if they would like for me to make a Plot specifically for DA or not. I already have an idea ready, and if they'd like, I could just make 3 or 5 different ideas, post them in a Poll, and have the Administration and the students vote on it. If I put my mind to it, I can make an idea pretty quickly, so I'm sure I'll be able to find SOMETHING that'll make DA a unique roleplaying area. Smile
