Another new idea, cause I'm full of them, and cause Roleplaying isn't having any attention. X3
I actually came up with the idea a little whiles back. The idea would be an Arena that, for anteing up x amount of DP, you can ban one card for your opponent to use, the more useful the card, the higher the ante. Here's an example.
Player A: I challenge you to an Underground Arena match (250 DP).
Player B: Alright, I accept. I ban the use of Caius the Shadow Monarch for 500 DP extra.
Player A: Cool. I ban Mirror Force for 1,000 DP.
Player B: Ok. Let's duel.
Now, Player A must use a deck that does not use Caius the Shadow Monarch, and Player B must use a deck that doesn't include Mirror Force, the winner of the match receiving 1,750 DP (250 (auto) + 500 (Player A's own pocket to ban Caius) + 1,000 (Player B's own pocket to ban Mirror Force)). Although the DP amounts are just examples, you see where I'm getting at. The point is to force your opponent into using cards and ideas that they're not used to, or to just cripple their decks. It's even harder for people who actually know each other, because they know key cards to each others' decks. Also, a fine of X DP will be given to someone who breaks the ban rules, since essentially, they're using a Traditional Deck, because the card said is "banned" to them.
Overall, just a fun, challenging arena. Also, it's based on Underground duels, like the one Zane Truesdale was in, a plot device that I think is underrated. Let me know what you think. =)
