Okay I activated crystal abundance and my oppenet flipped activated Dark bribe to negate it and then I activated spell shild type be to negate it Would abundance still be activated in this situation?

If you activated Abundance, then he activated Spell Shield, then you activated Bribe (from what I understood), then of course Abundance would still carry through! The spell that countered it was negated!

you always resolve from the last card used, if it negates something else that negates something, the original chain link carries on as if nothing had happened [after all other costs/tributes/whatnot have been resolved]
Not sure why no one else in the tourny understood that
